This totem or tower has elements of purposeful and commonly used steel items that were discarded. While they relate to one another graphically, the pointe finale in completing the statement implied in this piece, was the glass ball reminiscent of the earth. The focus is to remind us to protect our world, with hope and luck.

The horseshoe hung on a shed wall at my family’s country home for 60 years. It speaks of time passed, the importance of nature and nurture, and hope for the future.
