TIMEPIECE
2013
Steel, plaster, hydrostone
11” wide x 4” depth x 60” high
23 cm wide x 9 cm deep x 152 cm high
Weight: 11 lbs, 5 kg
This was my first steel sculpture created while studying at a sculpture school in West Rutland, Vermont.
My love of Louise Nevelson, linked with the theme of time, clocks, pregnancy (the plaster figure and extensions spin), this blend of old and new results into a dynamic figurative wall piece.
