3 CEILING sections of vine-like, neuron-like forms were created at the request of two owners of a new bookstore In Montreal, called SAGA. Embedded in the ceiling sculpture are tiny, white lights and objects such as a bird nest, a music box, a small chair, a turtle, leaves, keys, a magnifying glass, and other items that are reminiscent of science fiction, fantasy, and odd items that get lost and found in trees and in the ground. Looking up at the piece offers a wandering eye to discover and explore, as one would while reading a book, getting lost in another dimension.
This style of work looks great in different sizes, on the wall, as a theme for furniture or anything your heart desires!
It is not necessary to paint it copper, however, this worked beautifully for SAGA. Thx for the creative opportunity Mathieu and Ilya, owners of SAGA!
