The request for a sculpture that could hang outdoors, year round, on the wall of a house, was made by friends who love found objects and tools. The size was specified by the buyers, and the rest was left up to me. This piece is influenced by my memory of a massive tool wall sculpture that hung in the entrance of the Cote Des Neiges location of Pascal’s hardware store from the 1980’s in Montreal.
